
It’s Ice Cream Tuesday! (still hoping it’s not old). If you don’t know the reference, be sure to check out all of the ice cream recipes in the Ice Cream Week Series.
So, now that we’ve covered the vanilla basics, and of course have a chocolate recipe, it’s time for strawberry. By their powers combined, they are Neapolitan Goodness!! I hope I have some other Captain Planet fans smiling 🙂
Allergy Status: Wheat/Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Soy Free, Nut Free, Peanut Free, Yeast Free, Corn Free, Sesame Free, Legume Free, Nightshade Free, Vegan, Paleo Compatible, GAPs Compatible, SCD Compatible, Vegan, Nut Free Compatible, Cane/Refined Sugar Free Compatible, Low Histamine Compatible
For Nut Free and Low Histamine: Omit the cashews and Brazil nuts. Use 2.5 cups of a safe milk. Consider adding a little arrowroot or half a banana to thicken the mix a bit.
For SCD, Paleo, and Gaps: Omit the guar gum, and exchange the sugar for organic maple sugar, date sugar, or honey.
Ingredients:
10 ounces Organic Strawberries (we used frozen)
2 cups Organic Unsweetened Milk of Choice
2 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Guar Gum
2/3 cup Organic Sugar
1/3 cup Organic Cashews
8 Organic Brazil Nuts

Directions:
Combine all of your ingredients in your blender or Vitamix. Blend until smooth, then transfer the mix to your ice cream machine. Hit start and wait for delicious results.
